BRYNLEE DAWN

The first pic here is of Brynlee a couple of hours after she was delivered, then the next one of her me and Brian is tonight when they did what they call the Kangaroo Kare where they put her up to my skin and i get to hold her for a while. The one of the hand next to her with the rockstar glasses on is when her papa got to go in and see her. I love that pic. The bottle one is of her sitting up and not quite sure if she likes the whole feeding thing. She did so good. I want to hold her all the time and never leave her but I know that can't happen and I realize as the time gets closer to me leaving the hospital that I am not going to like leaving her here while I am not. I miss her every time I am away from her It is so hard to do this but I know she needs help that I can't give her and that she is in the best care EVER!!!!!! I also love the pic of her hand in Brian's!!!!! i LOVE YOU BRYNLEE BOO!!!!

continued......

So Thursday night I had contractions for a few hrs and thought I was in labor but they slowed down then stopped and My nurse Brian got me settled down and gave me a good sleeping pill and put me to bed!!! Every thing stopped.
Well Friday night around 9 pm I was having to pee every 10 min and would have contractions everytime iwas done. Well they started to really hurt and I called my nurse and she came in and I was hunched over counter breathing really hard through my contractions. She put me to bed and checked me and said that i was dialated to a three but not to call Brian until she checked me in an hour to see if I was progressing.!!! We I was at a four and hour later and my contractions were 2 -4 minutes apart and getting really really strong! They called Dr. Huish and told him the news and I was feeling that something wasn't right. Well they my labs back and the preeclampcia was back with a vengance my liver enzymes were high platletts low again and I was having sever upper abdomen pain meaning my liver was not doing good. I c alled Brian and Him and my mom were on their way down, in the mean time I got my epidural cause the contractions were so hard. Brian and my mom showed up around 1:30am and shawna and Chris and Melissa were there as was Stacie. Dr. huish walked in around 2:30 and said Tif we are going to make you feel better, your body is telling us it's done and we need to get that baby here. He said I am going to break your water and get things moving along better. Well my contractions slowed down after that so they put me on pitocin and at 3:30 my nurse came in and checked me and said I was at a 6 so she would come check on me in an hour. My mom was standing there next to me and I looked up at her after 6 contractions and told her I felt ALOT of pressure and I thought she was coming out! so we called the nurse in and then I was sure she was right there. the nurse came in and lifted my gown and said Tif squeeze your legs together she is right there. I thought what the heck I'm not even a 10 yet how can that happen. well dr huish came in and was putting on his booties and they turned me over and got one let in the sterrup and I was trying with all my might not to even breath cause I new she was right there. Well as my leg went up in the stirrips I felt like my water broke but it was her landing on the bed. Yeah,. Brian said it looked like a slip and slide type delivery. She looked so good and much better than I thought she would. Brian got to cut the cord and she was taken over to the incubator so they could asses her. they wrapped her up and I got to give her a kiss and then they took Brian and Brynlee and went to the Special Care Nursery. Brian said they stuck a tube down her throat and intibated her with a CPAP and then started IV's and all kinds of thing s going on in just her first hour of life. She has been through a lot but is doing really good right now!!!!! Here are some pics of those first few hours and day of her life.

our little rock star!!!!

for those of you who don't know the whole line of events that took place I will share plus I need them for documentation too!
Last weekend Friday the weekend of the 20th Brian and I took the kids to see the Broadway Mary Poppins her in mesa. I had a Dr. appt that Friday Morning so I took the girls with me and Brian brought Doyle up with him after work fri. night in time to go to the play!! I was told at the Dr. appt that my blood pressure was high but not to be to worried and that I had Toxemia. So I needed to start coming to my appts every week instead of every 2 weeks. I was really swollen after the play and didn't feel well at all! Saturday we woke up at took the kids to Cabellas and to see a movie and I was in a lot of pain in my upper abdomen plus was really really swollen and so uncomfortable!! We stayed sat night and drove home on Sunday and while I was driving back to safford I had to spells where the road split and everything went blurry and it scared me so when I got home and got the kids ready for bed I told Brian that I was going over to my mom and dads to take my blood pressure. Well when I took it, it was 164/108!!! Yeah not good at all so I called my PA friend and she told me to go to the ER and tell them I needed to go back to labor and delivery to get checked out! Well they ended up admitting me and Dr. Jones came in the next morning and said that my blood pressure was still high, my platelets were low and I had preeclampcia!!! My Dr here in Mesa wanted me in his hospital as soon as possible cause if he had to take the baby he didn't want to wait ! SO all the helicopters were grounded because of the storm and the ambulances were backed up on ground transport for at least 6 to 8 hours which they were not wanting to use anyway so they sent me by ambulance to the airport in safford and awaiting was a Learjet they had flown in from Sky Harbor in Phoenix! They put me in the plane and 27 minutes later we landed in Phoenix!! fastest flight of my life!!!
They admitted me here to Banner Gateway and Kept me on Mag and did blood draws every 4 hrs for 3 days then continued with the mag until 4 Fri morning. I was told I was going to my sisters here in mesa on Monday the 1st of march and they would induce me at 36 or 37 weeks. Well Brynlee had other plans................

update.....

I am off the Mag so now I can see and functions somewhat of a normal person! Brynlee is here and so so tiny! I can't hold her yet but I got to pick up her head today and hold her head in my hand! SHe is doing good they tell me and was taken off the cpap ventilator this morning and now I can see more of what she looks like. One of the veins in her little arm ruptured last night and the meds seeped under the skin in her little arm so now that forarm looks kinda like popeye!!! she is jondice and needs special little rockstar glasses while they have the lights on her! I might get to hold her tonight but there are no guarentees but we are crossing our fingers!!
I am doing good and was taken off the magnisum and blood pressure stayed good my plateletts are a little on the low side but said that with good bloodpressure they can handle that! I hope to post pics soon so all of you can see her. Brian said he would post them when he got home! I will be staying in Mesa for the 2 to 3 weeks that she has to stay so I can help supplement her and have one on one contact with her which they say is vital right now!!!!
I miss my kids terribly but know they are in good hands with my awesome motherinlaw and that helps me be able to focus on Brynlee's needs as well as my own. Sleep, pumpand drink water are my orders right now and they don't want me doing much else! but I can't tell you how much better I feel right now! I hope to have pics soon....love to all

Happy Birthday Day!!!!! I love you

Happy Birthday Dad!!!
A Dad is a person who is loving and kind,
And often he knows what you have on your mind.
He's someone who listens,
suggests, and defends.
A dad can be one of your very best friends!
He's proud of your triumphs,
but when things go wrong,
A dad can be patient, helpful and strong
In all that you do,
a dad's love plays a part.
There's always a place for him
deep in your heart.
And each year that passes,
you're even more glad,
More grateful and proud,
just to call him your dad!
Thank you, Dad...
for listening and caring,
for giving and sharing,
but, especially, for just being you!
Thank you for everything you have done for us!!! When I think back at the times growing up and all that you sacrificed for us words can't describe how much I appreciate you!!!! We never went without and even in the hardest of hard times we never felt the stress you were feeling!! You are amazing and I am so Lucky to be able to call you "MY" dad!!!! and hey let's not have a recap of what happen last year at this time, WHATEVER!!!!
Happy Birthday dad,
Love

I need some HELP please.........

SO from about 8:15pm to 11:00pm last night I was having contractions (pretty hard ones that you have to breath through) every 5-7 minutes then they spread out a little more but I had them till 4 am so needless to say I am exhausted. I have still been having them throughout the day not as hard or as much but I haven't done a dang thing today but lay down and drink tons of water oh yeah I did get 2 loads of laundry done but that came to a stop as the contractions got stronger and stronger. so I have decided that I need good crock pot recipes that I can start in the morning and have ready for Brian or Kaely to throw a side on the plate but won't be to involved.!!! Brian is so good and last night I hadn't had anything ready for dinner and bless his heart he put me to bed with water and a clock to count contractions plus Ben gay for my back cause it was killing me and made the kids eggs burros with chicken and Avocados which they LOVED and yeah they were freaking good!!! He is the best and never once (when I would yell for him to come rub my back during contractions) did he ever make me feel like I was being a butt!!!! I love love love my husband!!!!
I want to try and make the evenings a little less stressful for him, so I thought what better way to do that then to have dinner semi done!!! He works so hard during the day and is so stressed out when he gets home, I feel bad having him being thrown into the roll of mom right away too!!! SO if anyone has any good recipes for the crock pot or casseroles I can freeze I would love them!!
Thanks so much
Tif

Fun with the Rowell's!!!!!! Down on the "Beach"

We took the Rowells for a little sunday drive to our favorite spot, Bonite Creek!!! The kids were excited they got to drive in Dad's "monster" truck!

The kids had a blast just running around on the sandy "beach" as they call it!

Kaely would not leave well enough alone with Brian's hat and dad was through playin mr nice guy so he took off after her!!!! a few times! But when he would yell for Dozer to "attack" she very willingly gave up the fight!!! It was so much fun and I love spending time with the family! We had a great weekend and I was sad it had to end!

Now I Know there is no mistaking!!!!! I am PREGNANT!!!

Kaely thought she was being so clever and took a pic of me outside yesterday!!! Are you FREAKING kidding me!!!! I am 7 1/2 months and I look 2 months over due. I still have 8 weeks to go!!! I keep thinking how much this baby moves and flips like Cam did when I was Pregnant with her and I am so in trouble!!! I also kept hoping she would follow in her sisters footprints and be one of my small babies (Kaely 6LBS even and Cam 6 LBS 11OZ) but from the looks of this pictures I'm kinda thinkin NOT!!! Now I have some what of a sense as to why the 100 LB Walmart worker( who had a 4 month old baby) the other night asked me if I was having more than one cause I sure was BIG!!! Yeah, I gave Brian the, take her by the hair and drag her outback honey,I'll be there in a minute to deal with her, look!!!!!!!

"Let them Be Little"

So the song "Let them be little" is REALLY ringin in my ears these last few days!!! Every night while I am TrYIng to find a comfortable position I turn over to find this sleeping right against my back! WHAT THE!!!! I know I should be loving the fact that he wants to be right next to mom and dad cause there WILL come a time when those nights are no longer there, but Oh my gosh can't it be after I am not sleeping with a Watermelon in my GUT!!! I know, I know suck it up Tif, Right? I just need to look at these pics and remember that one day I will give AnYThIng for him to want to have AnYtHInG to do with me!!!! Notice the CKC shirt that he is wearing!!! He HAS to wear his DAD"S work shirts to be and this is becoming an every night occurrence!! SO sweet!!!

So excited.....I need your vote!!!!!!!!

My sweet sweet sister Shawna felt for some reason that she needed to "pay me back" for watching her adorable kids while she went to spend 4 days with her hubby who had been in Colorado for a month! Hello I was so happy to help cause I would die if I had to wait that long to see my Hubby!

So anyway, she nominated me for a photo shoot with Holly Brimhall to do a newborn photo shoot and Holly accepted and is doing a voting pole so we need as many votes as possible to win!! I am up against 12 other girls so go on and vote for me "PLEASE" This would be so much fun and I think Brynlee would love to have her picture taken too!!!!! Go here to vote for me and thanks love you all

40 pairs of shoes and counting....

I just donated 40 pairs of shoes to the people of Haiti and it felt so good! I have decided to do it this way so I know that they will get the shoes to these people! Every Tuesday from here on out for the month of Feb I will donate shoes to the people of Haiti! This makes me feel like I am doing something for this poor country! Try it if you can. Even one pair makes a difference!

Shoes for Haiti

This makes me want to go over to this place and take everybody under my wing and try some way to help them out! So I have decided to make it a goal to collect as many pairs of shoes as I can by the end of the month to send over to Haiti! I hope to find kids, baby, men and women shoes of all sizes! click on the button on my side bar called soles 4 souls and see what you can do to help also! Even if I found just one pair of shoes and knew that it went to this person I would feel justified, but I know I can do more! Doyle is sitting here watching me type this and he keeps saying " mommy, poor poor person!!" This is a learning moment for the kiddos too! So let's do what ever we can!!!!
