Cambry's teacher Mrs. Baysinger is out on Maternity leave so she was so excited to learn that she is getting her teacher from last year Mrs. Barney.....I love this teacher!
Everytime the kids give her a gift she gives them a poem in their backpacks so they can read it when they get home. Cambry gave her a soda the other day and I found this in her backpack tonight and thought it was so cute.

This is REALLY working for me!!!

So on our way back from Mesa last week, Becca and I decided to write a weekly agenda on things that we were going to do on Mon, Tues, Wed and so on. And ONLY do those things plus keep up the everyday stuff like make beds and do dishes and stuff, but I'll be danged if this wasn't working for me.
Today I am washing mine and Brian's darks, thats folding and putting away, taking my car to the car wash to wash and Vacuum and Vacuum the front living room and family room. I love that every day I know that I only do these 3 extra things and then I make myself be done for the day!! It really has helped with the stress level and I know that next week there will be less to do cause this weeks stuff is all caught up. If you'd like me to post a copy of the things that Bec and I are doing on a weekly basis I will and then you can change it to what works for you. Just give it a try. This Morning started really early.......

So last night we could NOT for the life of us get the kids to go to sleep. After about 2 hours things finally died down and when I went to check on all the kids around 3 this morning which is something I do everynight around that time, I found all 3 kids in bed with Kaely. Well it took me another hour to fall asleep and then at about 5:45am I heard Brian waking the kids (all of them) with such great enthusiasm I probably have some explaining to do with our neighbors. :)He had all of them in the shower and dressed by 6:30 (go honey!!!) He told all of them that if they had enough energy to stay up late then he was going to start waking them we he gets ready to go to work and if they continue to stay up late he'll wake them up when he gets up at 4:30am!!! So we'll see if this continues.I told him before he went to work that Doyle was going to need a nap today and he said "NO WAY" that kid is staying up today so he'll go to sleep tonight. Yeah well.........see for yourself!!!!!!!

He fell asleep on the way back from taking the kids to school this morning. I tried honey but there was no way to wake this kid up!!! I have even cleaned and vacuumed his room, no luck!!!

What a day it was!!!

Do you ever have days where around 3 or 4 you are wondering how in the heck you are going to get through dinner, baths and bedtime........
Well today is one of those days. not for any reason in paticular but I am just plain worn out. Am I alone on this or what and if I am how in the heck do you get your second wind!!!
I can't seem to get that fire lit under my butt to save my life!!! What is a mother to do when you know that if you don't cook it's not happening and not than I am complaining, but then your 9 almost 10 year old comes in with drama behind every word and wants to bake no bake oatmeal balls, well yes I should let her but hey with the day I've had that drama is sounding like a basketball game and the Suns are winning ;) catch my drift!
Then the 6 almost 7 year old can't find the cord to her stereo that she wants to jam to high school musical with and I hear What time is it ringing in my head literally. The drama can the drama stop or give me a chance to catch my breath as I hear the both of them in the kitchen ticked cause I just asked them to unload the dishwasher and you would think I just asked to tear down and rebuild the empire state building. AND i can hear Doyle yelling at both of them that he wants to play house and he is the one that is going to be the dad and pull the family car behind his crane so he can watch it go speeder and speeder!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH Is it 7:45 yet oh yeah and tonight is monday so I need to come up with a family home moment. Really whose FHE really lasts an evening. love you all

Happy New Year!!!!!! 2009

We loved spending the New year with friends and family. The company, friends and food were awesome. This year we all played games and loved it and laughed till we cried! Balderdash will go down in history as the game that got Brian to cry he was laughing so hard! (gene does wubagurl ring any bells)

This is what my room looked like up until today.....Yes I just admitted that we have been living in squaller for almost 2 weeks. It take a lot to get all this cleaned up (laundry) yeah never ends what was I thinking to really accomplish here. But I do feel better that now it is all cleaned!!! It will be another year before we go on a trip again J/K.......not really
