It's Monday and I'll cry if I want to.....

So this morning started off like any other morning, 4 miles in my living room with Leslie Sansone, shower, frost cake ,(okay that doesn't happen every morning) Get the girls dressed, hair done, breakfast, usually pancakes or Waffles (with or without powder sugar) YUM!!, then my morning takes a turn for the worst! Camtoad comes in with a swollen cheek complaning that her tooth was killing her yup (abscess tooth) I had the take Bubba D to preschool and then go to the church for a funeral that I was helping to serve food at! So I drop Cam off at Bec's house take all the kids to school (I car pool with the Hackett's) go by walmart for the rolls my mom wanted me to get cause she is home sick and couldn't go get them for the funeral then I drop Doyle off at preschool (run by the flower shop to get an arrangement of flowers and a bunny for Kaely that say's I love you!!! (we had a really bad morning before school started YUCK) I felt bad!!!
Then head home to do my hair that was in a bun from my morning shower, now it's 10:00am and as I am getting the casserole in the oven that my neighbor brought by and asked me to bake before the funeral so I could take it to the funeral for her (breath) Brian comes in and says that the Realtor just called and another Realtor wants to show our house at 11:00 (what the &(%*&^%&**&%) I freaked cause let me tell you I don't know about you but on Mondays my house looks like a train wreck and It's laundry day for the kids and yeah need I say more, so I call my ever so awesome neighbor Becca and tell her I desperately need her to come and help me clean my counters off in my kitchen while I run around my house burning 9000 calories and shoving things in the washer and dryer yeah EVERYTHING!!!!! you'd die if you really new!!! and other places that wouldn't be seen and with a smile on her beautiful face she walks through my laundry room door and I know that It will all be okay! SO for the next 30 min we clean and throw and shove and hide everything to make my very LIVED in house look like one of those model homes that they leave the lights on at night so you can see the WHOLE layout of the house(who am i kidding right)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We get the last dish dried and By now I am sweating like I just walked to 4 miles in under 9 minutes!!!
THEN THE PHONE RINGS..................It's shirley my Realtor, the people cancelled and won't be coming cause they closed on a house yesterday with another Realtor and forgot to call them and let them know earlier!!! I yelled in the phone "WHAT NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" By now I am 30 minutes late for the funeral, Brian who should have been on his way to New Mexico to look at a job we're bidding on is in my garage stacking boxes and making it look like I actually park in my garage (I haven't' for 3 months now) Yeah New Years Resolution still not done :) and Becca (Have I told you how awesome my neighbor is) is still cleaning my counters and putting year supply cans away and out of site!!! I owe her BIG (HUGE);)
I laughed in the phone and SHirley felt horrible but hey...........What do you do!!!! plop down on the couch and totally enjoy my SPARKLING clean house!!!!

Then try to remember where it was that i shoved all of Brian and I's clean underware that was on the counter in the laundry room....hhhhmmmm this could be a problem!!!!

I already knew this had happened to my darling daughter and I'm tired all over again~~~ What a wonderful mom to make a stressful morning better for her daughter and believe me I felt her pain with the whole house thing, hhhmmm, must be a family thing! Becca we love you so much!!!!!

Wow, girl - I'm stressed out just READING about your crazy day! Poor thing! The only thing missing was someone barfing all over you or something catching fire. See there?! At least you didn't have the fire department over!

I have to tell myself that a typical day during the busy times only lasts about 12 hours. Beyond that everybody else can just take a number, right? Except I don't say it that nicely when I'm alone...haha!

Hey girl,
I haven't checked in on you for awhile and thought I would do so tonight.

Wow, really, WOW, what a Monday. I totally understand about the wrecked house on Monday mornings. I usually clean on Friday so we don't have to do it over the weekend, but, without fail by Monday our house is a mess. I really feel for you. I am sorry it was such a seriously crazy day. We are in the process of selling our house so I really understand and was laughing (not at your day, but, at your comment about remembering where you put your underware). We have had the same problem lately. I am glad you made it through the day and had enough energy to share it with the rest of us. I am glad to see that you have amazing friends there to help you out when you need it. That rocks.!

Smiles,
Tamara (Senn) Mowers

Man--What a drag of a day. Sorry to hear about it, it is so hard to show a house-or keep it ready to been seen all the time. We showed our house probably 50 times, but we did finally sell it-(I am not really complaining because I didn't have to reallly live in it at the time-I do NOT know how I would have survived.) So kuddos to you.

Tif, you are so fun! I'm sorry that you had such a crazy day but I love that you blog about it-makes me know I'm not the only one going nuts! Thanks for posting your list of chores a while back. I can't seem to buckle down and make my own so I'll use yours!
