SHE PASSED!!!!

Well little peanut passed her car seat test and we are going home (hopefully) Saturday if she behaves herself!!! It will be a little scary and I am going to be one anal mother but i know I will have every ones cooperation with her being home so I feel a little better!!! Brian is going to be installing a hand sanitizer pump right by our front door and there will be masks for people to wear when they come and visit and if they have been around a sick child of any kind meaning cough runny nose, RSV, whatever, we ask that they not come over to the house at all. or sick themselves (but you knew that right) the kids will be changing their clothes upon arriving home from school and will wash their hands and we won't be having friends over to play for at least a couple of months! We also ask that if our adult friends and family come to see her that they not bring the kids right now just cause the NICU says these little people carry little people germs and we can't risk Brynlee's underdeveloped lungs getting any sort of infection or it's back to the NICU for us!!!! As much as I loved the nurses at this wonderful hospital we only want to visit them again when she is fat and full of spunk, not because she got sick again!!!! and honestly I couldn't handle seeing her hooked up to all those tubes again!!! we will also be hibernating in our house for some time, so you may not see a whole lot of us but please know that we love you and appreciate all that you have done for us and our family!!

WONDERFUL NEWS!!! Good for you guys - I'll bet you won't be able to get home fast enough! ....and I hear you about putting a hand sanitizer pump at the front door!!! My baby wasn't born early, yet I was a paranoid freak - and it's TOTALLY OKAY. People shouldn't be coming over anyway! I can't, for the life of me, figure out why people want to come over to a home with a brand new baby - and bring their kids!!! I get it that they want to see the baby - but see her when she's not so little!

'kay, done with my rant. Take care, get home safe, and congrats for enduring such an ordeal. You ROCK, mama!

Very exciting news!

You can't take RSV too seriously. Don's little grandbaby has been in the hospital twice with it recently.

Hey Tiffani! Congratulations on your sweet little one, what a miracle!!! And you don't ever have to apologize for being 'paranoid'! As mothers, it's our God-given stewardship to take care of our children the best way we know how. We'll pray for you and your family!

Oh, Tif, your peanut is precious! Don't feel bad about being paranoid! Having had chemo and a premie we have told people to go away before. Sometimes people just don't think! You have to be careful and you are doing a great job. I am sad I missed you but probably good for Peanut!
I hope you enjoy your mommy time. I love you, Tif!

PS:
My sister in law is a NICU nurse. They get angry when the babies come back with RSV because the parents let everyone hold them and love on them. It is very bad parenting...

After Braden came home from the NICU we did the same thing. We put a sign up on the door politly asking visitors to return in a few months! ha! We also have a big front window, so we'd let people come to it and see him through there like a nursery. So, keep strong and the visitors will get over it! SO glad to hear you are home and well! Can't wait to meet her, but I will wait to see you around! Good luck!
