I'm doin it!!!!!

I have about 35 LBS that I want to lose and I want to be well on my way by summer!!! I want to purchase a cute swimsuit and take my kids swimming without feeling like the whale has arrived! So with the help and motivation of some important people in my life and Isagenix I am going to start the life style change to better my health and my families!! I can't say I will always have a smile on my face but I am ready and willing and there is no better time than the present to start!!! Wish me luck and hopefully if I see you in the summer I will be at least 15-20 LBS lighter!!! Here goes nothing!!!

Doyle is such a good big brother and loves to hold Brynlee every chance he gets. I hope they always get along!! From the looks of this pic I don't think that is going to be a problem! He is always going up to her and kissing her on the top of the head and saying with his teeth grit together "such a cutie bootie smootie" he's into rhyming EVERYTHING! I love it!

I Love U......

My sweet sweet hubby took the night shift feedings at 12 and 3 and 6 so I could get some much needed sleep! He is amazing and even woke up this morning still liking her! and had a smile on his face.

Brynlee's Wubbanub

These are the greatest things ever!!! They gave her a wubbanub in the NICU and it is a duck (or whatever animal you buy) that has a binki sewn to it and it helps hold the bink in the baby's mouth!! She now has a pink Horsey too and we love them. Why couldn't I have thought of this!!! gggeeessshhh

Stephanie.....NICU Nurse

I took a picture of as many of Brynlee's Nurses that I could and want to blog about them so I have it for her in her Book, so when she grows up she can see the Ladies that were responsible for taking care of her in a way that mommy was not capable of, and THEY WERE AWESOME!!!!! This is Stephanie!! She is just as sweet as can be, she is the soft spoken type and is just the cutest thing ever!! Her smile makes you forget your worries and let's you know all is going to be okay even when you walk in the room to find your sweet baby girl hooked up to tubes and Iv's galore and a mask that makes her face disappear.. It can be quite overwhelming but Steph new just how to put your mind at ease!!! Love ya ton's Steph and thank you for doing what you do I am so glad we were able to have you in our lives for a short little while! We will keep you posted!

Brynlee meets her brother and sisters!! 2-7-10

Brian brought the kids down for the weekend to meet their new baby sister. It was so good to see them, I missed them so much!! Aunt Brandee (Brynlee's NICU nurse) pulled a chair into the other nursery so the kids could see her threw the window!!
Dad was outside with them while they were looking in and caught some cute pics of their first impression of her.

Brandee stood outside with the kids so Brian could come in and take some from the inside. Bubba D had some pretty interesting ?'s for Brandee while she was babysitting outside!!! He asked Brandee if Brynlee could eat pretzles cause Lindsay (goodman) could eat those, and Brandee had to have a little talk about Brynlee only being able to drink milk right now. I think Brandee was a little scared to let Bubba D take Brynlee home ;>
The kids were so excited when they found out that I was going to stay with them in the hotel. It was like Christmas morning. I missed my little family so much

Playing catch up....way up/ Mary poppins 2-20-10

So Brian and I took the kids to see the play Mary Poppins. This was on Sat the 21st of Feb. I am sad to say that these are the only pics I have of that weekend. I wasn't feeling well (now we know why) and Brian had Doyle while we were taking these pics. The kids did have fun and we were able to stay overnight and do some shopping and took the kids to see Avatar!! It was a nice family getaway that we now know was much needed after what was about to take place for the next month!!!

We Made It!!!!

We are home and very sleep deprived so I will post pics once I've had a shower and a nap!! Let me just say that I am so very grateful for my sweet sweet husband.

SHE PASSED!!!!

Well little peanut passed her car seat test and we are going home (hopefully) Saturday if she behaves herself!!! It will be a little scary and I am going to be one anal mother but i know I will have every ones cooperation with her being home so I feel a little better!!! Brian is going to be installing a hand sanitizer pump right by our front door and there will be masks for people to wear when they come and visit and if they have been around a sick child of any kind meaning cough runny nose, RSV, whatever, we ask that they not come over to the house at all. or sick themselves (but you knew that right) the kids will be changing their clothes upon arriving home from school and will wash their hands and we won't be having friends over to play for at least a couple of months! We also ask that if our adult friends and family come to see her that they not bring the kids right now just cause the NICU says these little people carry little people germs and we can't risk Brynlee's underdeveloped lungs getting any sort of infection or it's back to the NICU for us!!!! As much as I loved the nurses at this wonderful hospital we only want to visit them again when she is fat and full of spunk, not because she got sick again!!!! and honestly I couldn't handle seeing her hooked up to all those tubes again!!! we will also be hibernating in our house for some time, so you may not see a whole lot of us but please know that we love you and appreciate all that you have done for us and our family!!

Brynlee and company

This is Brynlee's gaurd dog that her NICU "aunt's" got her! thank you aunt Brandee, aunt Deb and aunt Crystal!! We love you!!! She is now 4 lbs 4 oz and still needs to pass her car seat test before she can come home!!! Oh what a blessed day that will be!! We miss our family so much!!

Brynlee update

Brynlee is 4 lbs 1oz now and we thought she was going to go home this wed but she seriously failed her car seat test after only 20 min (she didn't even make it to the min) which is 35 minutes. and she had 2 more bradies last night so we don't know when she will be coming home and I told them not to even give me a date cause I didn't want to get my hopes up AGAIN and then have it not happen!!!I hope the bradies stop soon, cause this is getting, well, hard!!!
