Bread Recipe
It's actually a cinnamon roll recipe from Paula Deen but my friend Abby just leaves out the cinnamon roll part!! It's very yummy!! Although one of these days I might just have to make the cinnamon rolls!! ;)
Dough:
1/4 ounce package yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup scalded milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter or shortning
1 tsp salt
1 egg
3 1/2 to 4 cups all-purpose flour( i use 2 cups white and 2 cups wheat)
Directions:
In a small bowl disdove yeast in warm water and set aside. In a large bowl mix milk, sugar, melted butter, salt and egg. Add 2 cups of flour and mis till smooth. Add yeast mixture. Mis in remaining flour until dough is easy to handle. Knead dough on lightly floured surface for 5-10 min.Place in well-greased bowl. Cover and let rise until doubled in size 1 to 1/2 hours.
when doubled in size punch down dough and place in loaf pans.(I would say to cut this in half and put in two different pans cause mine seems to still be doughy in the middle if I put all of this in the same pan!! Just a thought) then let rise another 45 min! Yummy Yummy Enjoy!!!!
Heat oven to 350 for 30 to 35 mins.

My First loaf of Bread!!!!!

Here is my very first loaf of bread that actually turned out!!! How beautiful is this!!! I have to admit that when I cut into it, it was a little doughy so I had to put it back in for a little while!!! BUT, you have to understand my excitement that it is big and fluffy and not hard and the size of a brick!!! Yeah!! Thanks Abby for the recipe it was so good!!!!
Here goes nothing!!!! YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So as part of my new year's resolution I wanted to get organized, well tonight I tackled probably my biggest challenge yet!!! THE PANTRY I must say that I had NO!!!! idea that there would be this much stuff!! My husband thinks I am NUTS for posting this most rediculous mess, but I had to let all of you out there with pantries starring you down that it can be done!! I promise! Isn't it pretty!!!

This is what was left over to go to the trash 3 hours after starting this task!! WOW
This is what came out of my little pantry!!! HOLY CRAP!!!
